Today marked 1 month since I started this weight loss challenge.
It seems easier to gain weight than to lose it considering the fact that I am going at a snail speed. Well my waist measurement is my yard stick because the bigger my waist the high the risk of me having health problems. Today, I took the measurement of my waist circumference and I got 93 cm as against 97cm since the beginning of this challenge. I am about to cry because I am not half way to where I want to be which is 80cm. According to ‘http://www.webmd.com/diet/guide/calculating-your-waist-circumference, my waist measurement should not be above 88.9cm or 35inch. I need to lose about 13 cm to get to where I want to be which is about 14.4 kg,(I got this from a site http://theconversation.com/africa.I don’t have the slightest idea of how this calculation is done so I used this information from them).
“The rough guide is that for every 1 kg that you lose, you will reduce your waist circumference by 0.9 cm for both men and women. So to lose 6 cm off your waist, you would need to lose 6 / 0.9 = 6.7 kg”
I am praying to shed this weight, so help me God.
